Somehow in my mind, Glenfarclas holds a special spot. It is a single malt that is both luxurious and smooth. My favourite is the 15 years old. A truly high class, noble scotch that has a little something more than its competition, which is ferocious in the sense that Strathisla and many others are not to be dismissed. Glenfarclas 15 years old is as good as a Macallan, maybe a little more complex. Absolutely wonderful as an aperitif.
