I can most definitely state that an age of more then 10 years does not ruin Talisker. Words cannot do justice to what happens to Talisker with age. I have 2 bottles of 1955 cask strength 40 year Talisker - one to drink and one to look at like a fine piece of art. But I must warn you, DO NOT try to sample it for once you do, you can never go back to 10 year Talisker. It is a drug. It will consume all of your disposible income, and more, to find the other very special whiskies. You will become obsessed!
