Glen Rothes I presume? Yes, a fine dram indeed. If the experience has turned you on to Speysides, I think fine examples of the region can be had for far less money. The Singleton, Aberlour, Cragganmore, The Edradour, and Balvenie all come to mind as fine whiskeys in the genre that cost about 1/2 that of the austerely haughty Glen Rothes. Not that I dispute you on the merits of the Glen Rothes itself. Noble and mellow, I have little doubt its rarity and fine qualities justify the price.
