Hi, Mackinlay was a family owned brand of the Mackinlay family, later sold to one of the big breweries. Marketing is no longer very strong, albeit it still supposedly sells well in Australia (unconfirmed). The Grand-grandson of the fromer owner, Nial Mackinlay, now works as marketing manager for Inver House, you might try to contact him via Inver House, he might be able to tell you more. While not readily available everywhere, it is a cheap-to-moderate blend, nothing outrageous, just not everywhere around. Try to ask some of your local mail-order guys, maybe one of those can get it.
