Any tasting experience is personal, so, while there might be some to agree with you, there will be many who won't. Unfortunately, Talisker is very rare as independent single cask bottling, so it is very difficult to judge the truec character of this whisky, without mixing of large batches, chill-filtration, and colouring with caramel.
