Scotchwhisky.com is offering its readers the opportunity to join the prestigious new whisky club, The Ladybank Company of Distillers Club Ltd.  There are currently three types of membership available: UK (from £3250), European (from £2500) and Overseas (from £2300), and the Club offers payment options of one-off payments or payment by installments.


The Club has a unique range of benefits for whisky enthusiasts, centred around the creation of a small, traditional single malt distillery that is being set up within historic farm buildings. The tranquil countryside location is close to Edinburgh and St Andrews and within one of Scotland's finest barley growing areas.

    • Limited Membership – The Club is restricted to 1250 people worldwide.
    • Members Special Reserve Whisky – included in the cost will be a special members reserve (approximately 12 bottles each year for 10 years) of Ladybank Single Malt Whisky, that club members can select from different casks. (There will be peated, sherry-matured, and other whisky styles available).
    • Access to Members Rooms – This “Private Club” distillery will not be open to the public and members will have access to club facilities at the distillery for entertaining and visiting ‘their’ distillery.
    • Participate in Whisky Production – Not only will the members be able to learn, take part and enjoy all the stages of their whisky being produced in their distillery, they will also be able to see small batches of local barley being malted in Ladybank’s special 5-tonne malting vessel. Different traditional kilning fuels, alongside peat, will be used.
    • Creating a Lasting Legacy – Your membership can be handed down to future generations and so by joining the club you will be creating a lasting whisky legacy, and a spirit, for the future based closely on original farm-scale distilling traditions.
    • An Investment in the Assets of the Distillery – Members, through the club, will have direct title to the distillery’s assets and can sell their membership or gift it to their heirs.
    • Special Rates - as well as your membership allocation of Ladybank spirit, all other products and services from the distillery will be firstly made available to members at special members rates.
